When does the season run at James Creek?

Do seasonal sites have sewer hookups?

Sites are water and electric, and the park runs a pump-out service for season-long stays. We'll walk you through how it works when we call.

What's the community like? I'm new — will I fit in?

Family-focused and multi-generational. The way in is easy: pavilion events run most Friday and Saturday nights, and the pool is where introductions happen. Regulars keep a seasonal Facebook page and an event board going all summer.

How far is Raystown Lake?

Minutes. The park sits in the Raystown Lake region of Huntingdon County, close to launches and marinas.

How much does a seasonal site cost at James Creek?

Full-season 2027 sites run $3,300–$3,600 for standard or premium woodland sites, with pay-in-full and installment options. The front desk quotes your exact site and walks through every fee when we call.

How does the waitlist work?

You join the list with the form or a phone call. When a seasonal site opens, we call in order. Current seasonal guests renewing for next year get first right to their site during the renewal window.

What does a seasonal site include?

Your site for the full season, so you set up once and camp all year without re-booking weekends. Details vary by park; the front desk will walk you through what’s included when we call.

Cancellation & payment policy

  • Minimum initial payment $500 Due when you reserve your site.
  • Cancellation deadline March 16, 2027 30 days before the season opens on April 15.
  1. Within 48 hours of booking

    Full refund. Cancel inside the grace period and everything you have paid comes back.

  2. After 48 hours, before the deadline

    The $500 minimum initial payment is forfeited, and a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the first service period is charged.

    • Paid more than the fee? The difference is refunded.
    • Paid less? The remaining balance is still owed.
  3. On or after the deadline

    Cancelling or altering your reservation forfeits all payments made, and you may remain responsible for the unpaid portion of the seasonal rate.
