We spent one night here on our way from Florida to Texas. The park was very well maintained and the staff friendly. The sites were small and close together but the pads were level cement with full hook ups (50 amp). There was a small lake with a walking path around it which was nice. We paid about $51 for the night which I thought was a little steep but we slept well in this quiet location.

We only stayed one night. The park is conveniently located off the highway but far enough so you don't hear traffic noise. Looks well kept, has FHU and large level paved sites. We loved this place. It's a beautiful park. Great location. We easily drove into New Orleans for a day trip. The laundry was a bit expensive but a nice big, clean room with plenty of machines. They only have dumpsters in one place at the far front of the park but they have garbage service (which is so nice) that picks it up from the front of your spot. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because there is a lot of dog poo around. Especially at the designated "dog park" but around the lake too. It's very sad because I'm sure the owners would love for people to be responsible and pick up after their dogs but since the residents don't, the management really should try to clean up at least the dog park. Makes it virtually useless to have the dog park because it's hard to use without getting your dog filthy. Again, I'm sorry for the management that some pet owners are so foul. This happens in parks all over the country and it's sad to me. Otherwise this is a gorgeous park and we'd likely stay again if we were in the area.

This is our 3rd time visiting the park. We first arrived after they were purchased by RJourney. The staff is wonderful, kind and courteous. We love our site and generally try to get the same ones. This time, we noticed a lot of new additions such as the floating palaces and the golf carts for rental. The cost was a little higher than expected by we know it is worth the money because it is a well taken care of park with pride by all their workers. They have also added a free dog wash in the dog park. We were in our own RV at the Lakeside, Louisiana property

Very nice park and well kept. Everyone who works here is really nice. We wish we stayed longer. Not too far from NOLA and other things to do. The laundry room could use some updating. Some sketchy people come here to stay. Not the parks fault but maybe have some type of screening before letting people stay at the park. If possible. Our sewer was a little higher up then where it comes out of our RV. Which made it hard to dump but if you pull up directly to the sewer connection, that'll make it easier to dump. Not sure if all sites are like this.

All concrete sites very well maintained with all the necessary amenities. They have a stocked lake and the sites 113-126 have a nice view of the lake. All the sites from 113-142 a a bit more spacious as well. But overall a very nice rv park one that I would recommend. Their only draw back is charging you $10 if you come before 2 pm. It’s the first time in three years of traveling that we were charged for coming in early. But overall it is a nice park.

Making the phone call to make reservations at this RV park was an initial plus. Checking in was absolutely delightful. The entire staff was very nice. The park and the grounds were immaculate. Big spaces and all concrete made it very nice. Overall, it was very nice. This would definitely be a return RV park.

All paved, large sites. Trash pickup all day and strong internet/Wi-Fi. Bathrooms cleaner than my home w blue toilet bowl water.

Hands down best RV resort we’ve visited. We actually enjoyed it so much we stayed an entire 6 months! Monthly rates are unbeatable btw. The people who work, live full time, or just camp at the place are amazing. They loved on our kiddos and made us feel so welcome. There is so much for the whole family to do, paddle boats and kayaks, a super clean swimming pool, a game room, covered playground and pavilion, volleyball, cornhole, fishing, biking, etc…. The park is so clean and well kept. A laundromat, store with tons of options, firewood, propane, ice. Everything you need is here! They have tons of stalls and showers so you never have to wait. And they are CLEAN too! These folks really take care of this amazing place. You have to visit!

A pleasant surprise! The swan and walking path (highlighted in red) was such a nice surprise! We felt ideal spots would be #141-143. You get the benefit of ‘off lake’ spot but still a little space between. We applaud the park for not utilizing every green space for camp spots. Lots of space and well worth the little drive to ‘town’. We have to shout out to ‘Charlie’s’ in Springfield. A wonderful surprise for small town eatery. Don’t forget to run over across the street to ‘Donut Hole’. You will need the walking path after a visit to them. Overall a great place! We ran to check the KOA that is located closer to Denham Springs and we were very happy we chose Lakeside!

We stop over at this RV resort as we go from Destin Florida to Houston Texas for cancer treatments at MD Anderson. The staff is very nice and the park is very clean and the restrooms are very nice. They have pool Throughs that can be used and that makes it convenient if you’re just doing a stop over so you don’t have to disconnect everything. Our experience has been good several times

Clean, well kept park. We stayed there on way to Florida & stopped again on our way back. Enjoyed the game room. Didn't use pool. No noise.

Only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is no cable and hour drive to New Orleans and 30 minutes to Baton Rouge. (Which yes we knew ahead of time) Park was clean, beautiful lake with ducks to watch, everyone picks up after they’re pets, quiet hours were fairly quiet…… we had a pull thru site, no shade. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful

We stayed here for two weeks May 2022 and it was very nice! The park is very quiet during the week but fills up on the weekend. Pool was a little murky when we were there but they told us they were trying to figure out the chemicals to fix that. The public spaces were well maintained (the playground had tons of spiders but I don't know how much that can be helped) and my son loved the game room and corn hole area. We were surprised to see the resident swan and her little duck friend! Thought that was cute! The surrounding area didn't have much to do but it's situated in a good location to visit New Orleans and Baton Rouge both. We'd visit again if in the area!

Well maintained clean park with a beautiful lake. This park is clean and well kept except for the water spigot that reveals the age of the RV park 20+ years. We had bad leakage and the maintenance worker could only do so much to help us. We ended up filling our tanks the whole two weeks we were there. It's my understanding that there's new ownership so I hope they plan on replacing. The staff was very nice and helpful. There's some street noise, but its not bad and it's expected when staying somewhere. The park was quiet except on the weekends but that's everywhere. We had an amazing view and our pup enjoyed our many walks around the lake. I deduct one star due to the water issue but have hopes they will replace spigots. I'll definitely stay here again and will give one star back when I don't have to fill my water tank to stay here.
