Clean campground, activities for families and employees routinely seen driving the grounds. Bath house is updated, clean and well maintained. Very happy we chose to camp here. Full hook up and large spots lots of trees. There is a gaga pit, new looking swimming pool, large bounce mat for the kids and cabins for those who choose not to camp. Conveniently located in Perryville so very close to Saint Genevieve. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in the area. Very nice place!

I felt safe and I’m sure if needed good neighbors would be there for me. I have visited this park in the past and like to come back as often as possible. There is much to do in town and the people are nice, informative and helpful. To quote an old line “ I’ll be back“. Forgot to mention the curbside trash pickup. What a great idea to have on every level. Thanks for a lovely week

We stayed in black bear cabin for 5 days with 7 of us and also rented a golf cart. The cabin was very nice, clean, and had everything you would need except for bedding and toiletries. There were plenty of trees around to out up our hammocks. The staff were all super nice. Renting the golf cart was a great addition to our stay. The pool was so nice. Us girls spent a lot of time at the pool and the guys spent a lot of time fishing at the small pond. The park was nice, had a lot of shade, and was very quiet for the amount of people that were there. We will definitely come back if we are ever in the area.

Very nice park! I love the daily trash pick up! It's nice to not haul trash to a dumpster..they do it for you! Pads are very well maintained the only bad side is you do have to do a little bit of leveling out. But it's worth it! I was surprised I didn't hear the interstate as much as I thought I would. Pool is nice and well maintained! Just wish there was adult swim time! Cabins look very nice, next time we come back we will check them out! I strongly recommend this park!

We stayed for a few months, because my husband travels for work. Everything was great. Camper spots are spaced nicely, and the grounds are very well taken care of. We had a great fathers day weekend at RJourney in Perryville! We brought our camper, and my in-laws rented a small cabin. Everything was super clean. The pool was ideal for families with multiple depths. My only complaint (because I'm selfish) was no alcohol in the pool area and there were slim options in the store. BUT- we were able to run to Aldi and the gas station for a few things nearby. New management was very friendly and helpful! This was our first visit and we would go back!

Nice campground. Really close to the highway so lots of road noise, but you really can't help that. If you just look at a map you will understand that it is close to a highway. I will say that they seem very militant about their rules and spend quite a bit of time on check-in explaining them to you even though they are handed to you on a piece of paper. A little Annoying and a waste of time.

We absolutely loved this place! We were searching for a place to stay for the 2024 eclipse inside the totality path. Of course nothing was available that wasn't $600+ a night in the entire southeast Missouri area which is the closest for us being from KC. I spoke with Karen, our gracious host, about getting on the waiting list for an RV spot. I called back several times to check in with her. Then a couple weeks later, she called and said one of the rustic cabins opened up. We jumped at the chance and booked 3 nights there. Zero regrets and we highly recommend it! It was still off season, so the jump pad and pool were closed, but the kids still loved the playgrounds, nature trail to the nearby lake, and of course playing by the pond that was just a few feet from our cabin. The cabin was adorable. We had the Catfish Cottage which had a front room and a back room separated by a wall and door. The front room had a full sized bed and the back room had two bunkbed sets. The mattresses were actually pretty comfortable, better than expected. There were power outlets and ceiling lights in each room, as well as a porch light. There's a cute little electric fireplace and window AC in the back room. In more extreme temps, you might want to bring a fan to circulate the air to the front room. Every cabin has its own fire pit, grill, and picnic table. Things to consider is that you'll need to bring bedding/sleeping bags, and everything else as if you were tent camping. One of the 4 pond cabins has a water spigot behind it for fresh water. We brought a 5 gallon fresh water jug with valve and foldable sink to wash our hands and make coffee. We always travel with our Keurig! The restrooms and showers (I think 3 stalls and 3 showers in each) were kept very clean and weren't ever busy. Most of the time you're the only one in there. If you have a hard time getting around, this might not be the place for you. They are in the main office building maybe 300 to 350 feet away from the cabins and up hill. We didn't find this to be a deal breaker though even with a 5 and 3 year old. It'd be great if they put in a one stall restroom next to the cabins for middle of the night bathroom breaks. You are near the highway, so there is quite a lot of road noise, but it didn't bother us. The plus side to that is that it's in a perfect location near Wal-Mart and restaurants. We ate at the Mexican place next to Wal-Mart and it was surprisingly delicious! Highly recommend if you like good chips and salsa and authentic tacos. Big shout out to Karen, who was so sweet to us and our kids! We'll definitely be back with our camper during the summer when the pool is open. Our kids were literally crying with tears rolling down their little faces when we had to leave LOL.

There is really cute cabins to rent, a catch & release pond right there & a really nice play area for the kids. Very well kept camp ground. We were there around Halloween & the place was all decorated up. They were even having a maze & spook house for kids & adults that's free as long as you are staying there. But be warned a few adults have come out with wet britches. I would highly recommend this place.

Our stay was pleasant, quiet and convenient! This was my 1st camping trip?, I rented Catfish cabin next level up from a tent, which means no kitchen or bathroom in cabin! But shower and restrooms are right behind the cabin! Pet friendly and lake is right at your front door especially if you love to fishing! ?? The only negative thing was the flies?internet was down due to the prior storm! We'll be returning soon and thanks again?

The resort is nice and activities are always really great. Fantastic pool, play areas, etc. Only complaint is the early checkout time. We also didn’t like the loud work being done on the weekend, and bright lights of numerous golf carts that blinded us while we tried to enjoy the campfire.

The only think I didn’t like was that I tried to get a second cabin for the second night due to it not being Available both nights of my stay and they said I had to book it two nights as well. They did not book that cabin That night so they lost a sale that they would have had if not for this rule. We ended up getting a hotel for that night instead.

The owners went above and beyond to accommodate our group. Even delivered icecream to us when they found out we missed the icecream social. We will be back!! Thank you Perryville RV.

I stayed at the Perryville campground for two months, I had the pleasure to get to know all the staff. My family and i had a great time, the park was very clean as well as the camp areas, grass was kept mowed and trash picked up. I love this camp ground, the sites are close but I never had a problem with anything or anyone. The small cabins are very nice and clean, It's a pet friendly campground, the manager and staff are great people. I enjoyed working and getting to know them. I have stayed in many campgrounds and this one is at the top of my list due to the helpful staff I truly enjoyed my stay and my family loved the activities. It was a blast. If you get a chance to get away for a couple days go to Perryville and stay. Good campgrounds start with the manager and this manager is on top of things and I like that. Staff works well together and that makes a good place to stay, the store at the site was nice and had a lot in it. Swimming pool was clean, the bath rooms clean, bounce pad fun for my granddaughter , walking trail was fun, fishing was fun, no one bothered anything at my camp site. What a wonderful journey we had. I will go again and stay. Shopping and restaurants are very close to campground. Also you can rent a golf cart and ride around the camp ground my granddaughter loved it. I give this campground 5 stars. What a wonderful place to stay.

This was a 1 nighter highway stop for us on the way from Red Bay, AL to Colorado. Very pleasant, spacious, Lots of trees, lovely nature trail around the lake and family friendly. Our pull thru site was not level but ok for a night. Huge campfire rings and picnic tables and lots of buddy sites. Convenient to highway but not much highway noise.

We were at the camp site in Perryville and stayed in our camper. It was a total blast! The staff was friendly and courteous. The grounds were neat and clean and the activities were great. We have stayed here 4-5 times and have already reserved our next visit later this year. The only thing missing is cable TV but we enjoy being out doors. They also have clean shower houses if you need that because your staying in one of the cabins. I hope it doesn’t become too pricey. We paid almost double from a couple years ago which is why in-part for all the improvements but I don’t think they need to raise their prices for a few years.
Sandy HastingsEasy access from 55. Clean campground, beautiful pine trees in the park, clean bathroom/shower, specially hot water shower Thank you.

Easy online reservation. We stayed in the campground not a cabin. Good price. Several choices of sites….back in, pull thru. Easy to get to. Politely greeted.Nice layout. Very clean, kept up, nice features like 2 sets restrooms, pavillions, sewer marked well& hook ups located well for our travel trailer. Love that it backs up to a a MDC area/ city lake. Lots of wildlife. The town is directly across the road. Several nice cabins for those who may like that. Well kept up gravel roads/sites. Pond on site & large open area, dog clean up posts/cans. Impressed, stayed3 nites all good. Will return again. Enjoyed it. Kudos to the staff for keeping it up the nice property. Some campgrounds out there are lacking in that.

We rolled in at night and there was a map and info waiting for us since the office was closed. Felt very private and secluded even thou it was right off the frontage road. Woke up to see a very clean campground, groundskeepers we’re out at 7:30am cleaning up. The bathrooms and showers were clean and air conditioned. We would definitely recommend this place!!! Thanks for a great place to stay

Price is increasing each year by $10 and has changed hands about every year. YES golf carts are allowed!! STAY HERE WITH KIDS!!!

Nice campground. Kids loved the jump pad and playground. Trail around the lake is accessible at the back of the campground. Location is easy to get to and close to Perryville restaurants and attractions. Pool looked very nice. We didn't swim because it was cold. Were surprised the pool still had water in it, being November! Only giving 4 stars because our fire pit location was too close to the camper and we couldn't move it. The spot next to ours was vacant so we just used that fire pit, no big deal.
Melissa HartAwesome owners! Lots to do here and very relaxing! Love this place!
