It was great process from Jose that made the reservation to the check in. The sites are VERY close to each other but the price makes up for that! We didn’t use any amenities so I have no review on that. But overall great one night stay. We did have one issue with the Power but the maintenance responded quickly!

Our stay was a short transient one so we did not venture about the campgrounds. Was what we expected with exception of a neighbor RV with a AC unit that was on its last leg. Thought the fan was going to start the RV on fire due to lack of lube or repair from noise being emitted. Not conducive to a good night sleep! Other than that we had a nice stay, but spent little time in the campgrounds during daylight hours.

The staff is amazing! There is a valet to show you to your spot and make sure connections work, they bring you firewood (heads up you cannot bring your own) and their shop has some parts/tools, food, Knick knacks, clothing, etc. there are metal trash cans throughout the property that the staff empty all throughout the day, there is constant presence of staff all day which was nice. There is a mix of campers there for days/weeks and there are permanent residents as well. For the most part everything is kept up but would be nice to see more attention/maintenance to the long term parked vehicles. There late a lot of offerings which is super nice and you still get phone service while feeling secluded. The pool needs some attention but there is a game room, mini golf, partial basketball court, playground, ponds and easy to park spots. Would we stay again, absolutely!

We were passing through on our way to Texas in our motorhome. We found this campground that was pretty close to the highway and easy to access. Very clean, beautiful trees, plants and ponds. The sound of, frogs, birds and crickets play in the background and we see the flashing of fireflies as we sauntered through their walking path. We woke up to the pleasant sound of rain. ? Very cute place!!

Roy greeted us over the phone and informed us he was just around the corner and we would need to wait until he arrived, or we could meet him at his current location and drive over together. We decided on the latter option. We sat with Roy and friends and conversed for about an hour. What a great time meeting everyone. We later proceeded to the park. We had a corner spot in the trailer park. It wasn't anything fancy. It was just an overnight stay. We did however, have a great yard to let our two dogs out. Roy helped us get backed into the location. He knew this was our first night in our new vehicle. He helped with all the hookup before leaving. He even provided a 50 to 30 pig tail which we did not have. Thanks for all your hospitality Roy. If you are ever in Houston, look us up.

Great service and use of technology is reserving a spot. The spot itself is nice and close to the highway but also tucked away. It's about 5 miles away from Union, which offers some dining options as well. The store, restrooms, showers and grounds are a little tired, but functioned well are we're adequately clean. We're I the owner, I'd put some lipstick on the grounds, playground and buildings to make the place shine.

Overall not a bad place to stay. You could tell at one time our spot used to be a pull through spot. Now it’s split and you share with another camper. That left no room to park our truck or the people that was back up to us. This also made our sewer connection about 10ft from the steps of the camper next to us. Had that been our spot I would have been upset, nobody wants that in their front “yard”. I would stay again, but request a different location. We did not use any of the amenities so I can’t comment on that. The pool seemed to be busy a lot.

The resort entrance is right in the middle of a curve on Highway 50. We were assigned site G7. The site was fine. The resort was nice with many trees. Many full timers. It was quiet and uneventful. The only complaint we have is that our water connection was 2 feet under ground in a coffer dam type of pipe. As seniors we had a tough time getting down and reaching the valve, which was a normal outside faucet. Most other sites had their water connections above ground. Other than that it was fine and we would stay there again.

The park is smaller than I expected, but that wasn't really a bad thing. The mini golf is playable...mostly. It could use some touch ups, but my daughters had fun; that's what counted. We had a solid experience. There were rules signs and papers everywhere basically saying, "Be considerate." All of the people we ran across were considerate, thankfully, during Memorial Day weekend.

Nice RV park. The employees were pleasant and helpful. The restrooms appeared to be recently renewed. We didn't use the shower, but they appeared clean. We stayed overnight. It looked like many units were seasonal. We had a nice site. It was fairly level. It was back-in, but we didn't need to unhook. Our rate was $51.00 for full hookup. Corporate has gotten involved, which has complicated and lengthened the documentation process. It even required credit card information for "liability purposes". (Sigh)

Overall, a positive experience. Stayed 2 nights, on the first night the 30a hookup was fried and I didn't notice. It's a good thing we had a surge protector or the RV might've been toast. The surge protector stopped working as a result and it took a couple hours to get it all figured out. The staff were very helpful and responded right away. They gave us the 2nd night for free for the hassle and moved us to the best spot in the park. The park itself is very clean, as are the bathrooms. Problems will arise, but it's how they're handled that counts, and they handled our problem perfectly. Definitely will be back someday.

Pin Oak RV was a perfect stop over for us! Traveling in our 42ft Class A w/Toad across the USA, our stay afforded us a level gravel site w/full hookup that offered a 20/30/50 amp choice. We called to reserve and spoke w a call center not at the park, it was an easy process, we received prompt emails w confirmation and a text w directions. The RV Park is conveniently 5 min off I-44 E, 3 quick turns and you're there! We stayed in early April, got a great off season rate of $29 + tax. We didn't use any of the amenities, but the swimming pool, playground and small lake looked like a great place for a summer vacation! The Camp Host Loretta is very welcoming and gave us great recommendations in the area. High five!!!

Was just passing through for a night on a cross country road trip. The resort was not fully open as it was still winter, but it didn’t matter. The restroom, showers and laundry were immaculate. There was a well equipped game room. Everyone from the reservationist to the office manager to the golf cart driver who escorted me to my RV site (a first!) performed their job as if they were working at a five star hotel. A sweet spot and great value. Must be really fun at the height of summer.

While I was waiting for my transmission to be fixed, the staff at this campground was great! The call center is open till 9 after every other campground was closed. This was convenient for a late night, last minute reservation. The manager, Loretta, is super nice and allowed us to stay in a site that was supposed to be winterized, while we waited for our tow vehicle to be repaired. She also allowed us to delay payment until we knew how long we were going to wait. The rest of the staff at this campground is friendly and always greeted myself and my family with a smile. While we were there through Christmas, we had several secret Santa gifts left at our campsite. We were also greeted by Mr. Grinch and Mr. Kool-aid, which my kids really enjoyed. We were truly made to feel like part of the Pin oak family. The campground is old and could use some updating, however it is still well maintained and clean. The laundry room had 6 washers and 6 dryers and they all worked great. You could use quarters, which they have in the office, cards or an app. The pool was closed during our stay, but the shower houses were clean and I appreciated the camp store and the necessities they sold. Some of the sites are small and hard to fit more than one vehicle parked across the road. The prices per day/week/month were reasonable and I will definitely stay here again if I’m the area.

Great, friendly, and affordable. The ppl here are so welcoming, and the park is in wonderful condition. It is such an easy access right of hwy 44 near Union, Washington, and St. Clair, as well as Pacific and more. There is a convenient little shop in the park and the showers and washing machines are nice. I would recommend this park to anyone who wants a place to stay with nice neighbors, no drama, and a great management team, as well as good prices.

We had the lot by the pond F15 I believe our neighbors were friendly. The biggest down fall for me and I own a dog, there were WAY TO MANY dogs there, we seen people dragging the dog behind them on the golf carts, kicking their dog when the dog doesn't want to walk or just dragging them when their legs lock because they don't want to go. Kids walking big dogs they can't control and most of all the dog barking and dog fights that was the most overwhelming part for us. Our dog we left at home with my sister he is a barker, when you have 20 dogs little and big around you barking until your in bed and can still hear them because it was nice out windows open that's a little ridiculous. The amount of people living there with their yard cluttered with junk makes the park look trashy, in reality it's that person. I think the park should make people living there keep around their campers and yard clean for customer appearance and maybe put a limit on how many dogs per camp site and size or type of the dogs. A little girl should not be trying to walk a giant mastiff. Overall it wasn't bad and our neighbors were awesome we played football with their kids on our lot because it was bigger.

This is a very nice RV park with the amenities and the store. Owners are nice and polite too. The price per night was not bad either. The only draw back was that I-44 runs along side of it a bit and you can hear the traffic. It does quiet down with less travelers on the Interstate after dark. It was worth staying for me as a tired traveler for the night.

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 months, it was our 2nd favorite place we've stayed (hard to beat Torry Island), best campground store we've seen, so many activities for kids if you have them or are one like me. Free putt putt, video arcade, pool ping pong etc. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay there and appreciate the whole experience!

The two ladies, Loretta and another lady, whose name I can’t remember were two of the nicest people. I had to reserve online because I didn’t have phone service and apparently goes to the corporate office, well there was a glitch in the corporate office system and our reservation did not go to their campground, Loretta got it all straightened out, took us to our campsite and even offered to get us wood for a campfire. We only stayed one night, the pool area was clean and had a nice variety of items.

Very cute little park with exceptional service! Each employee we spoke with was polite and hospitable. The park has easy on/off freeway access and is super quiet. Pads were level gravel. Restrooms were newer, and very clean. Big playground equipment, volleyball net, miniature golf and big clean pool kept the kids entertained and happy. We really enjoyed site A-11, as it was close to everything and had a beautiful unobstructed view of the pond and fountains.

The location was nice & clean. They have slot of activities scheduled, pool, showers, etc. I love that they have a mini market for those little items that you forgot to buy. From the moment we arrived, everyone was amazing. We personally met Shawn(Sean) and Courtney while they were put on the gold carts. The pool was cool and refreshing. The showers and bathrooms were really clean, and plenty of hot water. Only thing that my husband and daughter were upset about, was the lake(pond) was nothing but moss and they couldn't fish. Only complaint. Definitely going to be coming back and staying again, loved spot A11. Hope to see everyone there in the near future.

Stayed previously on the bottom and the slots are very strange as it is essentially a 100ft slot that 2 people share. It worked out fine but something about it seemed off to me. Staff are great and helpful. Not a single issue. Cumulatively stayed 3 months.

The sites were good sized and fairly level but the hookups were weird. Our electric was on the passenger side opposite our plug so we had to run the cable under the camper and across our site. The water hookup for the site next to us was literally IN our site. Legit almost under our camper as it was in a hole in the ground covered with a metal barrel lid. The people who work there were super nice though and being about 40 minutes from St. Louis was also great.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a little over 3 months while I did a travel nursing assignment. It was such a nice place for us to stay with our 3 dogs in our camper! Staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate on various occasions in our experience! Although, having more activities on weekends would have been nice! We had a blast and would definitely go back if we ever find ourselves in Missouri again! FYI, they definitely don’t allow mini bikes or ATVs, but you will still have a lot of fun!

I was in town for a dog show at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, and stayed at this campground. Proximity to the show was excellent. Very quiet campground, lots of shade and places to walk a dog. Staff is very friendly. Only complaint was that my back in site (4-10) was a bit hard to maneuver since the spot next to me and across from me had their vehicles parked in that lane at the same time. I have a 30' TT and was not able to easily make that turn without multiple stabs to get in position. But once I was in, it's a nice roomy spot with lots of shade. I would definitely stay here again.

Campground was clean and well maintained. All connections worked (30amp/backin). Pool was clean and well maintained, bahtrooms in clubhouse were clean, the putt putt course was cleaned and updated (a few holes under construction/just regular maintenance stuff). We'll be back!

We stayed in the double wide and it was very nice, close to the store and game room and close to the pool also. Had a fire pit out back that we all sat around and roasted marshmallows and hot dogs. Great time for first time camping for the 4 grandkids ranging from 4 - 7 years old. Definitely will go back.

The staff here are great! My kids love the arcade. They keep everything really clean here too.

We have camped here a number of times under the previous and current ownership. I have to say that my experiences in the past have not been something to write home about. They were not awful either. This time, we noticed the minute that we pulled into the lot that a number of improvements had been made and it is something to be happy about. We stayed in a location away from the lake and the hustle and bustle of everything. It made all the difference. Staff was amazing and accommodating. Loved the opportunity to rent a golf cart since we were not near the showers or the entertainment that evening. Loved listening to Pick Too Trio! We will most definitely be returning and timing it with the Trio.

I have traveled all over the country for the past 3 years as a travel nurse. I stayed in some great places. This was by far my best stay. The staff were warm, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. This location spot has won a sweet spot in my heart for its family friendly and clean environment. I worked in St Louis, MO and it was totally worth the commute. I hope to come back as a vacationer here. 10 out of 10 will stay again.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms and spacious parking spots. We stayed for 4 nights with kids and dog. The rv park was safe and welcoming.

Staff was attentive and friendly. Easy to navigate and pull through to park. Good pressure for water, area is very clean.

I liked it! The pool was great and the lake was beautiful. I didn't see the facilities and the only 2 major downfalls was the water hook up was on the ground and a hose that was lying there so hose-taste was cooked into the water. The wifi only gives you an hour then you have to pay. Tough to do work.

The managers and owner visited us and everyone was very nice even other tenants. It's a mix of long and short term folks and the owner is working to make it even nicer. I would definitely stay again.

We came in after 8pm and office called and stayed late for us! Super sweet staff. They picked our spot but it was a great spot and easy to get into. Even had some tree coverage. This part has great site with lots of amenities. They have a pool, store, laundry, arcade area, playground, basketball court, volleyball bal court, and even a pond with picnic tables in the shade around it. (Also forgot propane refilling station) They only thing we were not a fan of was the paid internet. We did not have great cell service and then you pay daily for internet. Lots of full timers but they kept their areas neat and organized. If you’re looking for a fun spot this is it. We were a one night and at $66.37 it was a bit high. They do take credit/debit card payments and have online registration which was wonderful!!!

We stayed here on July 15 weekend 2022. We look at reviews and such a lot and this campground kind of gets a mixed bag. Not sure about the old owners which are referred to in many post. This park had a lot of folks there, it was possibly over 90% occupied. The sites are smaller than some places but not terrible at all. It is quite notable there was no litter anywhere a d we walked our dogs all around the pond a d park. They have a lot of trash cans throughout which is nice because folks will use them if they aren't 1/4 mile away. All of the folks we met were very friendly and it was a pleasant experience. They allow older than 10 year campers which is fine by us, we are camping! Some folks have a lot of stuff outside their campers and perhaps some see it as unsightly but hey, we are camping! Didn't feel anything negative at all, the reason for 4 stars instead of five ?? is that it needs to be spruced up a bit which will cost a bit of coin so hopefully once the season slows down a bit they can get some of those things done. Campers on site ranged from older 5000.00 coaches to some very expensive new 5rs and motor homes likely north of 500k. It's not a place for snobs, but if you are the kind of person who likes camping and believes that everyone does it different so live and let live you should be fine here! All staff were super nice and they get the full 5 stars.

Beautiful rv park! We stayed 1 night right next to the pond. Very family friendly.

Just went there to visit a friend. The place looked crowded,but it seemed to be clean and quiet. Had nice playgrounds for the kids.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Pin Oak. Very nice office staff who checked us in and provided answers to our questions. RV site needed lots of leveling in the front, but excelled in many other areas. Great water pressure, sewer needed a longer hose that most parks, but site was complemented with a concrete patio, a beautiful table and benches with an umbrella and a very nice gas grill. The park appeared to be full, although it appeared like many sites were occupied by full time tenants. Nice pool, and surrounding area. We attended a nearby church, The Ridge Church, and was blessed. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
