The Cabin we rented for the weekend went above and beyond our expectations. It was clean, well furnished, and had beautiful views. The cabin was updated and had more than expected in it (dishes and cookware). We came there to visit with some friends of ours that had recently moved there. And we loved our experience there and will definitely book again!

Perfect location for a family getaway that is not too far from Port Aransas. Extremely friendly and helpful staff that manage and care for the property. Most of the residents are nice but some are extremely rude and get angry when you are at the pool with your children, crazy how if you’re still kind and courteous to other adults, they’ll still give you the look of death and hopes that you get out of “their space.”? Watch out for the “Community Karen” who takes pictures of your children which is even weirder. I love this place even with the rotten apples, glad to be home. ??

The staff was great, especially the maintenance guy! The site we were put in was way too tight for our 44 ft toy hauler, couldn’t put out one awning too far as it would touch neighbors fifth wheel. Be sure to ask before you book if you will be where traveling workers are unless you don’t mind diesel pickups starting at 4:00 am EVERY morning.

Beautiful campground. Far enough from the main road that it's not noisy. Employees are very helpful & accommodating. If you're an early bird you can watch deer in one of the field areas & see a beautiful sunrise behind the palm trees. Friendly campers, lots of full timers but they aren't rude like some campgrounds. Also has a lot of different kind of spaces available. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is some of the roads within the campground could use some work. Some places are pretty rutted out.

The property is a mixture between Mobile homes and RVs. But still nice. The 1st spot did not accommodate our slide out, they offered a bigger lot with no charge. Mosquitos were terrible, we fought them the whole time. We could t use the catch and release ponds because mosquitos weren't bad.Property would benefit from spraying for Mosquitos. Location is good, but forget from the water than we wanted to be. Pool is smaller than pictured. Was well kept and staff was very nice and accommodating.

We got there after hours, but were still able to grab our paperwork and get to our spot. The roads are a little narrow inside the park and at night the spots are a little tricky to find, but with the help of another resident, we were able to find our spot. We had no issues with customer service or staff. The RV park is mainly filled with snow birds who are quiet, friendly, and very helpful!

The people Seemed nice enough unless you are visitng. like I did for a month. I saw that they had entertainment and things going on like the last night I was there they had a food truck. I was never notified of any of these things. We had a freeze that I had no idea about. I don’t have local settings on my TV and I Was never notified by the email there was gonna be freeze, I went 3 days without water. The people that were next door to me all of a sudden started parking closer and closer to my truck. I couldn’t even get in my truck, one day I went through the passenger side. You know, I guess if you look for a place to stay maybe you can blend in obviously I did not. Finally, accidentally one of my dogs tripped over a Miss Nina. I called the office is I wanted to give her flowers and they said they couldn’t give me her information understandably. But they didn’t even offer to say well miss, bring the flowers and we will give them to her. So, Miss Nina, I’m sorry.

Regrettably, my recent experience at Rockport RV resort by R-Journey in South Texas was far from satisfactory, marked by a multitude of issues that significantly overshadowed any potential positives and there are some positives despite the criticism that follows. The entry and parking lot, plagued by deep potholes that transform into a muddy mess during rain and a dusty expanse when it's dry, created a constant challenge. The resulting mud-covered vehicles, caused by the poor conditions, made for a disheartening and inconvenient aspect of daily life. Primarily housing full-time working families, the park's atmosphere was dominated by the early-morning roar of diesel trucks rumbling down the narrow roads to work at 6 am, the return of night-shift workers at 2 am and the hearty screams of children in the evenings. This dynamic environment, while reflecting diverse lifestyles, led to disruptions that hindered the overall tranquility of the community. Large barking dogs, some left tied up outside unattended, added an element of concern for safety and the well-being of animals. The apparent lack of responsible pet ownership, as evidenced by uncollected waste, contributed to a less-than-inviting atmosphere in some areas. The Saturday breakfast, known for challenging even the strongest of digestive systems, offered limited appeal with its lack of variety and consideration for diverse dietary needs. While the option for direct package deliveries to sites was convenient, the draconian policy of returning RV guest mail to sender without notice was not only unwarranted but also contributed to an overall sense of neglect. The presence of aging, dilapidated RVs with tarps on roofs, ACs mounted in windows, and water damage underscored concerns about the park's maintenance standards. It painted a picture of a community where the physical infrastructure was lacking attention and care. The dismissive park manager, coupled with an office marked by high turnover and understaffing, created an environment where legitimate guest concerns were not only ignored but met with defensiveness. The evident disconnect between the corporate office and park management, particularly in billing matters, added a layer of frustration. Maintenance issues further compounded the problems, with maintenance staff turning off water and power without notice, leading to personal and professional inconveniences. Communication was absent, as my RV was unplugged to perform repairs to the pedestal while I was working on my computer, causing an unnecessary loss of work. Requests for consideration were met with silence, highlighting a lack of basic respect. The lingering smell of marijuana and septic in the evenings contributed to an unpleasant ambiance, further detracting from the overall living experience. I'm leaving five stars because, while my review is highly critical, I think an effort to acknowledge the challenges guests are having can go a long way. I made efforts to politely resolve minor issues with billing, utilities and package delivery with park staff and was asked to leave. The corporate office dismissed my concerns so I'm leaving this review to get their attention and give them another chance to address guest concerns in a professional way. I don't like leaving negative reviews and with a simple apology I will be happy to rewrite this one highlighting the reasons I chose this park for the last three winter seasons. I leave it to you R-Journey.

We had our RV, so we had our own housing and food. Went down and stayed there for the fishing tournament, my husband was a cook. Our Son put it on. We booked a lot for a month so we could spend more time there with family and friends. There are many people that dealt with the new management and were treated rudely. There were some that just packed and left, that have been there for a long time. I think our son will be looking for a new Loc for the yearly fishing tournament. The new people are not as friendly or accommodating with the amenities as the old staff. He brings in the people, but without the family friendly people and will be paying more next year, their just isn’t enough money without the extras. Me on the other hand, I have been treated good just still waiting on a answer to my question I asked about the atv’s/golf carts. I also feel that my emotional support dog should be allowed with me in all areas. The has her I’d and is registered. And by law she is allowed but you say no, so that is a big negative

I live here and been through 3 owners. The first one tried hard, but had no RV experience. Sold to a corp, that had no experience, but were savvy enough to put in experienced and highly qualified managers, and trusted them to run it. They (Ray and Debra) brought it back up to the most renowned park in the area. After Harvey, they brought it back from the brink of death again, lots of blood, sweat and tears. The love for this park, and their dedication to save it was above and beyond. They earned the love of everyone here. Fast forward to a new Corp. They installed a regional manager that has no clue as to what she's doing, but too arrogant to take advise from anyone. She has fired the one manager and would take out the other if she could, to install sycophants that wouldn't question her warped vision of what this park should become. Shouldn't you play to your strengths? This park is doomed. Breaks my heart.

This was our second winter at Circle W. We came back for several reasons close fishing access for the Gulf but the biggest reason we came back was because of activities that they do. We always had something to go to every day if you wanted to. from card playing to dances and bingo to indoor bean bag base ball. there was and is always something for everyone. You can not get bored staying here at Circle W. They also put on several meals from Saturday breakfasts to nice dinners for things like Thanksgiving, Christmas and of course Valentine's Day and other special occasions. Debra and her staff are very out going and work hard at inviting you into the Circle W family and that made us feel like family from the first day we were there. If you are traveling through Rockport Texas or want to stay for an extended period of time Circle W is the place to stay. so we just want to give a big thank you to Debra, Ray and all the staff for making our stay an excellent one and we hope to see you again. But it would seem the owners have not appreciated their care and commitment. There are dilapidated buildings (Hurricane Harvey-now 4yrs). Streets are in poor condition (yes, yes some camps claim these as speed bumps....) The park is renowned in an area with 30+ parks! Quite the commendable commentary!
