Laramie RV Resort sits along the Laramie River a few miles west of the University of Wyoming, just off I-80 at exit 310 (turn at the RJourney sign by the Pilot). It’s high-plains country at 7,165 feet, open and quiet, with Vedauwoo’s granite and the Medicine Bow peaks close enough to see from your site.
Sites are full hookup with 20, 30, and 50-amp service on concrete pads, in pull-through and back-in layouts, and big rigs fit fine. Each site allows 2 vehicles, with free overflow for extras. Cabins and tent sites round it out, and every RV and tent site is pet-friendly (2 pets, no standard fee; select cabins take pets for a small fee). Vedauwoo is the draw for climbers and hikers; its road and campground are seasonal, usually clear by April and at full services around June. Overnight rates start at $40, monthly at $575. Each site allows 2 vehicles, with free overflow parking for anything extra.

Vedauwoo Recreation Area brings granite climbing and hiking, and Medicine Bow National Forest opens up year-round trails and peaks just outside town.
