How much does it cost to add additional people to my reservation?

Extra overnight guests are $12 per night for adults 16 and up, and $8 per night for kids 3 to 15. Ages 3 and under stay free. (Day visitors are different: they check in at the office for a parking pass. See the visitor question below.)

If I have visitors, do they need parking or day passes?

Visitors must stop at the front office to check in and get a $5 parking pass and every vehicle must display a parking pass while on the property.

Can my visitors use the pool and other amenities?

Yes. Visitors check in at the office for a $20 pool and beach pass (all visitors also need a $5 parking pass), and can add the Aqua Park at the day-visitor rate. Kids 3 and under are free.

What are the pool hours?

The pool, lake and beach, Aqua Park, and dog park are all open 10 a.m. to dusk daily, weather permitting. Guests under 18 need an adult with them.

Is drinking allowed at the beach/pool?

No outside alcohol is allowed in the pool area or on the beach. No glass is permitted. Alcohol must be purchased at the Tiki Bar.

Can we swim in the lake?

Yes, the lake is open daily from 10 a.m. to dusk.

Is fishing in the lake catch-and-release or keepers?

Fishing is allowed but must be done away from the sandy beach and Aqua Park. All fishing is catch and release.

Can I bring my own boat/kayak?

Floaties and personal kayaks are welcome on the lake. If you'd rather rent, we've got kayaks, paddleboards, and paddle boats: $25 for 2 hours, $40 for a half day, $65 all day. Renters need to be 18 or older and sign a waiver. Stop by the office or the beach bar.

Can I bring my own golf cart?

Bring your own golf cart for $30 per day with proof of insurance. Prefer to rent? Golf cart rentals run $75 for one day, $140 for two days, and $50 per day after that. Holiday weekends are $75 per day. ATVs are welcome too at $30 per day with proof of insurance, and they need to stay on the public paved roads.

Are companion or emotional support animals allowed at no cost?

Service animals are allowed everywhere, at all times. All accommodations are open to those with service animals. There is no pet fee. If additional cleaning or damage is caused by the animal, the owners will be charged accordingly. Coconut Cove RV Resort is proud to be pet-friendly.

Does my dog have to be on a leash?

Yes, dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Are there age requirements to rent an RV space? Cabin?

Guests must be 18 years old to rent an RV site or cabin.

Can I work on my car/camper in the park?

Please see the Manager to seek permission

Can I wash my RV in the park?

No, washing personal vehicles or RVs is not allowed.

Can I sleep in my car in an RV site?

No, guests may not sleep in their cars.

Can I receive mail or packages?

Guests can receive packages (no postal mail) before and during their stay. Packages must be picked up in the office.

Are the bathrooms and showers ADA accessible?

Yes, bathrooms and showers are ADA accessible.

Is there an onsite laundry facility?

Yes, our laundry facility is open 24 hours a day during the season. There is also a change machine available in the laundry room, as well.

Is there a maximum stay allowed?

Standard reservations run up to 27 days. Staying longer than that? Our extended-stay and seasonal options cover the whole season. Call the office and we'll set you up.

Where is smoking permitted?

Smoking is allowed on the grounds except in the pool, beach, or eating areas.

Do all sites have picnic tables?

No, only select sites have picnic tables. Please contact the office for more information.

Is there a dump station onsite?

There's no separate dump station, because every site has full sewer hookup. You're plumbed right where you park. If you ever need dump service for another reason, ask the office and we can open up an available site for a $50 fee.

Is propane sold onsite?

Yes, we have a propane filling station.

Can I fill my freshwater tank onsite?

Yes, each RV site has a hook-up for a hose.

Can I bring outside firewood to burn?

No. All firewood is to be purchased at the resort.

Is there a store onsite?

Yes. The camp store stocks coffee, ice cream, candy, slushies, ice, OTC medications, toys and pool toys, toiletries, firewood, milk, eggs, to-go beer and wine, cigarettes, Coconut Cove apparel, and more. The Beach Snack Shack carries snacks down by the water.

Are there prepared food options onsite (restaurant, snack shack, deli, pizza)?

The restaurant and bar are in the clubhouse at the resort entrance. During the season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) they run Thursday through Sunday, and are typically closed Monday through Wednesday unless there's a special or a band night. Hours expand as we bring on more staff, so call the office for the current week's schedule. The Tiki Snack Bar at the beach opens on band nights and as staffing allows, and it's closed for the winter season.

Is there a party or meeting place available onsite?

We do not have a specific meeting place; however, options may be available. Please contact the office for more information.

Do you offer free Wi-Fi?

Free Wi-Fi is available at the clubhouse. For a connection at your site, Tengo Internet is available for purchase upon arrival.

Do you offer satellite and/or cable tv?

No, satellite and cable tv is not available.

Are tents allowed in addition to an RV in an RV space? In addition to a cabin rental?

No. Tent camping is not permitted on RV and/or Cabin rental sites.

If I have extra vehicles, is there an overflow parking area?

1 RV and 1 tow vehicle are included. Each additional vehicle is $5.00.

How do I cancel my reservation?

Call the Reservation Center at (608) 716-7301. Cancel within 24 hours of booking and there's no fee. Cancel at least 14 days before your arrival date and you'll get a full refund minus a $20 admin fee. After the 14-day mark, the deposit isn't refundable. Your full cancellation policy is emailed with your booking confirmation, so you'll always have a copy on hand.

Are any cabins pet-friendly?

Yes. Cabins 119, 120, 121, 150, and 151 welcome pets. There's a $25 fee per animal (2 pets max) and a $250 refundable deposit in case of excess pet hair or damage. Bring vaccination records for check-in.

What time is check-in and check-out?

RV sites check in at 2 p.m. and check out at 11 a.m. Cabins and pods check in at 3 p.m. and check out at 10 a.m. Need a little more time? Early check-in or late check-out is $10 per hour when the site's open. Ask the front desk the night before.

What comes with my cabin? Are linens included?

Each cabin has a K-cup coffee maker, dishes, and silverware. Linens aren't included, but you can add them for $30 per bed, and every bed comes with 2 towels and washcloths.

When does the park open for the season?

Coconut Cove is open April 15 through October 15. The Aqua Park runs from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and the pool, lake, and beach are open daily from 10 a.m. to dusk during that stretch (weather permitting).

How much are Aqua Park and pool wristbands?

If you're staying with us, pool and beach wristbands come with your reservation. Overnight guests add the Aqua Park for $15 Monday through Thursday, or $25 Friday through Sunday and holidays. Day visitors pay $20 for pool and beach, or $45 Monday through Thursday and $55 Friday through Sunday and holidays for lake, pool, and Aqua Park together. Season passes run $250 for pool and lake, or $350 for the Aqua Park. Prices can shift, so call ahead to confirm.

Is there a minimum stay?

RV sites have no minimum. Cabins and pods are 1-night stays Sunday through Thursday, 2 nights on weekends, and 3 nights on holiday weekends.

Do you have an age limit on RVs?

We follow a 10-year guideline, but we run a Pride of Ownership policy: a well-maintained older rig is always welcome. Send photos of any unit older than 10 years. If it's in good repair (clean sides, no tarps, running and tagged), we'll get you booked.

What happens if I arrive after hours?

If you've already got a reservation, look for an envelope with your name in the wall cabinet at the front door. It's got your campground map, directions to your site, and a parking permit. Fill out the permit and drop the stub at the office in the morning. We can't take after-hours check-ins for cabins or pods without a prior reservation.

Will I hear trains at Coconut Cove?

There's an active rail line along one edge of the property, so yes, you'll hear trains, including a few early-morning runs. Most guests stop noticing after the first night. If you sleep light, ask our reservations team for a site on the far side of the lake, where the water and the extra distance soften the sound. We're glad to point you to the quietest spots when you book.

What activities require a wristband?

Your included wristband covers the pool, sandy beach, and beach playground. The Aqua Park, the floating water park on the lake, takes a second wristband from the front office. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are add-ons too; ask at the office.

How many people are included in my space rental?

RV sites and cabins both include 4 guests. You can add people up to a max of 8 on an RV site and 6 in a cabin. Pods include 2 guests, up to a max of 4. There's no tent camping at Coconut Cove.

Can my dog be at the beach/pool with us?

No, dogs are not allowed on any of the sandy beach areas.

Is an ID required at check-in?

Yes, ID is required for check-in.

Are the showers open 24 hours a day?

Yes, showers are open 24 hours a day and are located in the pool house building and accessible from the back entrance door.

Do you allow triple towing?

Yes, triple towing is allowed and additional vehicles, trailers, and boats can be parked in the overflow parking area.

Does my space rental include wristbands for activities?

Yes. Every guest on your reservation gets a wristband at check-in covering the pool, sandy beach, and beach playground for your whole stay, at no extra charge. Kids 3 and under are free. Count heads carefully when you book, since wristbands match your reservation's guest count exactly. The Aqua Park takes a second wristband, sold at the front office at a discounted rate for overnight guests. Visitors who aren't on the reservation can pick up a pool and beach pass for $20.

Which cabins at Coconut Cove are pet-friendly?

Cabins 119, 120, and 121, plus cabins 150 and 151. That's 5 pet-friendly cabins out of 10, and they book up first in summer, so reserve early if you're bringing your dog. Questions about pet fees or breed rules? The front office can walk you through it before you book.
