Dolores River RV Resort sits on the north shore of the Dolores River, about 3 miles outside Dolores, Colorado, on the road toward Telluride.
Dolores River runs full-hookup RV sites with 30 and 50-amp service, plus separate water and sewer hookups, in pull-through and back-in layouts. ADA-accessible sites are available. Stay types span tents, covered wagons, RVs, campers, and cabins, so you can rough it or settle in. Up to 2 dogs per unit run $10 per dog per night, though the Airstream is dog-free. Ice, propane, and firewood sell on site. Overnight rates start at $15, monthly at $700. Overflow parking is $5 per vehicle.
You're about 3 miles from the town of Dolores, on the way to Telluride. Mesa Verde National Park and its cliff dwellings sit within reach, along with the Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center & Museum. McPhee Reservoir handles boating and fishing from mid-April, the Boggy Draw Trailhead opens 24 hours year-round for mountain biking and hiking, and the Dolores River Brewery pours wood-fired pizza Friday through Sunday. The Rico Historic District makes a scenic drive. Dolores covers groceries and supplies.
