Dolores River RV Resort sits on the north bank of the Dolores River, 3 miles outside the town of Dolores on the road toward Telluride. The patio sites face the water, a walking trail runs the property, and the San Juan National Forest starts just past the fence line.
Full-hookup RV sites run 30 and 50-amp in pull-through and back-in layouts, with ADA-accessible options. Beyond the RV sites, you can pick a tent site, a covered wagon, or a cabin. Up to 2 dogs per unit are welcome across the grounds and at the beach ($10 per dog per night; the Airstream is the one dog-free unit). Ice, propane, and firewood sell on site. The river is the point. McPhee Reservoir opens for boating and fishing in mid-April, Boggy Draw is open around the clock for mountain biking, and the Dolores River Brewery pours wood-fired pizza Friday through Sunday.
