We have been here since 2021 and have had the opportunity to experience the previous owners and the present owners/management. The current management is great and very responsive and available to residents. Shawna is excellent and has been instrumental in what may seem small, however are steady and meaningful improvements to the property. (e.g. installation of solar powered lights at the ends of the fencing between each site and other key locations around the property) We expect we will be staying for quite a while!

I stayed at Applewood for one month, driving about an hour and a half to keystone everyday for snowboarding. It’s a great location, near all the Denver necessities and not too far from the slopes. Easy highway access don’t have to get caught in Denver traffic. Shawna the manager was absolutely fantastic and was always going out of her way to help me with whatever I needed. Claude the maintenance guy was always around as well to help, he lent me a can of WD40 for my squeaky door. I would happily stay here again.

I have been here for almost 6 months and the best part about this park is Shawna the manager. She has been so friendly where she is available until 10 at night. She makes sure that all of the tenants in the park are well taken care of. She's always available and cordial to everyone PS The park needs to be cleaned a little better... Which is the responsibility of the owners, they do not support this park the way they should. There is no full time maintenence man to keep the park clean.

It’s a nice, clean park with plenty of lot space. On-site laundry room was convenient with working appliances and the restrooms were always very clean when we needed to use them. The staff are super friendly, too. Shawna was always responsive if we had questions or concerns and Claude drives around the property regularly and will let you know if he notices a potential issue with your trailer like leaks or if your awning is out on a windy day. All in all it’s a great place to stay and I’ll be returning if I’m ever in the area again.

I've lived here temporarily and have enjoyed the people I've met here. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Shawna (the manager) and all her crew are amazing people. Lot sizes are well-sized and you don't feel crammed in. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the mountains and needs to stay in and around the Denver area.

This place worked well for temporary living while in town for work. Good location. Close to food and activities. The manager, Shawna was very nice and always available/easy to reach when needed. The only negative thing I could say about this place is I feel like it’s overpriced. However, that seems to be the Denver area and this place was comparable to others in the area price wise.

The manager Shawna is amazing! The park is small but close to everything especially if you work central. It’s backed up to prospect park that with take you anywhere on a bike. It is monthly and no longer nightly. The management does very well at keeping out unwanted individuals and keep the park well-maintained I read a few reviews about people complaining about hot water not working this and that come on people things break down from time to time it’s out of their control. Is it supposed to be a Campground? You should have your own hot water in your camper. Instead relying on the facility. There are no tent camping here and they have full hook up. I have been around a lot of camp groups all over the USA. No it’s not a high end resort but a peaceful quiet and clean environment. People that complain about this place are just complainers in general and never satisfied. For the price range they are within reason for the area. Everything’s expensive since 2020. Good luck finding anything cheap in Colorado. I have been here for almost a year every one here are good working people except for the haters from time to time. I would recommend staying here. Unless you’re one of those people no one gets along with please go somewhere else.

We will definitely be back when we visit the area again !

I stayed here for 6 months, and it was a great place. At the time I was a traveling healthcare worker and needed a safe RV park for my dog and I to stay. The new manager (Shauna) that took over when I was there is AMAZING! She's super sweet and is really working toward making the park look appealing and homey. I will say it is a bare bones RV park, but there's a super nice park within walking distance behind the RV park which makes it totally worth it. The spots are small for what you pay, but they are more roomy and safer then the other RV places I had looked at with the same prices. You get a bathroom assigned to you with a key so you technically have your own little bathroom with a shower. There is also washer and dryers on site that are coin operated. It's also super quiet and hardly any kids. If your in need of a safe and efficient place to stay in the Denver area I highly recommend this RV park.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay if I were passing through or needed something long term for work.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is a small space, very close to other campers. However, it was quiet when we were there. Everything was clean outside. We didn't seek laundry or get to use the showers. We loved the walking trail around the pond and wish we would've stayed longer. Honestly, it's a great location. Close to Denver downtown. Very quiet, in our experience. The workers were super friendly and helpful when we needed an extra few nights after arriving. The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 star is because of the small space.

I was here about 2 years ago. The park has been cleaned up. There is a great park next door, good for walking. The campground itself is not pretty but is the only place close to Thornton (suburb of Denver) to stay overnight. I was a little disappointed about being charged for electricity but to be fair, it was cold and I used my propane furnace and an electric heater. It’s only a few blocks to highway 70 so easy to get started to your next destination.

Derrick and Hope came to Colorado from Wyoming to help manager in training (Jimmie) I think they have been here about a month. In that amount of time, they have really whipped this park into shape. Everything from cleaning fence rows, trimming trees, laying gravel, fixed the brick address sign out front, etc. It is nice to see such a young couple with an excellent work ethic, which is hard to find these days. They are a good asset to your company.

I loved this park so much. It was no-frills and the spots were a little tight but everyone was so friendly and made it feel homey. Perfect central location for visiting the surrounding areas of Denver and Boulder. The laundry room had plenty of machines and was very clean. There's a beautiful city park with cool biking and hiking trails as well as a little playground within walking distance of the park. The perfect spot to spend 2 weeks!

We had a great 5-week stay here in Wheat Ridge. They changed ownership while we were there and the new team is awesome. Super flexible and sweet. 3 huge selling points for us: 1. Our shower was on the fritz so this was great. 3. Obvious proximity to I-70! BONUS: we loved the full-timers there. Such wonderful people. When we pass through Colorado again, we’ll stay here.

I am absolutely floored by how accommodating and kind and wonderful this place is. Nancy is a literal angel. I couldn’t be more thankful for her. This place blessed us in a time of need. A mild winter storm hit and we had no where else to go and Nancy made it work. They have amazing private bathrooms which came in handy since our water pump froze. I asked her if i could run my generator until a spot became available and she said “hold on” and she literally made it work to where we got a spot immediately so that we could plug up to power and our tank heaters could be on so our tanks didn’t freeze. Also, they have awesome laundry/ bathroom facility. They even have DVD’s and books you can borrow for your stay. I mean truly, we feel right at home. Nancy even gave me her personal cell phone and that just speaks VOLUMES in my book. It also helps that my moms name is Nancy… maybe this was more than just a coincidence for us to stay here ;) 10/10 recommend them. We are beyond grateful for you Nancy.

They were life savers. They had 1 site available the night before a snow storm was hitting. Driving over the Rocky Mountains with a camper in a snow storm is not ideal. Unfortunately, I work from the road and their internet was so terrible I wasn't even able to use it on a basic level (to check my email or Google something) which I thought was beyond surprising based on their location (20 minutes from DENVER). This should really be remedied.

The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The park is quiet!!! Very peaceful to stay here. There is some distance road noise. The laundry room was fine. There is a trail leading from the park to a city park behind with a lake, children's playground equipment, a creek, and best of all a bicycle trail that goes all the way to Golden.
