The Vibe
A riverside adventure park with a pond, a ropes course, and zip lines on site. Open year-round, with an easy run to Park City and lake country a few miles north.
Echo Reservoir glints at the end of the highway, the Weber River cuts through 40 acres of tree-lined meadows, and Park City is 30 minutes up the road. Roam Echo Island occupies the sweet spot: close enough to ski-town dining and outlet shopping, far enough to hear the river from your site.
160 RV sites with full hookups anchor the property. Glamping tents for guests who want canvas and a real mattress. Cabins for those who want walls and a kitchen. The resort leans into activity, not just accommodation: 2 swimming pools, a hot tub, an aerial treetop ropes obstacle course with 5 ziplines, 2 pickleball courts, and a streamside cold dip that earns its reputation on summer afternoons.
On-site fishing in our stocked pond and the Weber River. Hike our Watertower trail & enjoy outdoor movie screenings on summer nights. For music lovers, we have a DJ, line dancing, and karaoke at the pergolas. Renovated bathhouses, laundry facilities, and high-speed WiFi across the property. The I-80 corridor puts you 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, while the setting feels hours removed.
The Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail starts nearby and runs 28 miles through Wanship and Coalville to Park City. Hike it, bike it, or ride it on horseback. Echo Reservoir itself is 1,394 acres of open water for kayaking, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, and fishing for rainbow trout.
Roam Echo Island spreads across 40 acres along the Weber River off I-80 exit 162, south of Coalville and 25 miles from Park City.
Roam Echo Island has 154 RV sites on asphalt pads, plus 8 tent sites, 6 cabins, and 9 glamping tents across its 40 acres. Premium Cottages have a queen, a pullout sofa, and a loft that fits 3 to 4 kids, and they're pet friendly. Roam Cabins come fully equipped with a kitchen, queen bed, two built-in bunks, a living area, and a full bath with shower and tub. Tents on an RV site run $25. Visitor parking is $5 a day and boat parking $15 a day.
You're along the Weber River with Echo State Park just 7 miles out for boating and fishing, and High West Distillery 10 miles away. Park City sits 25 miles south for skiing, dining, and Main Street. The Weber River and a stocked on-site pond cover fishing (state license required for the river, $5 pond permit from the office). For supplies and meals, Coalville is right up the road, with Neena's Market, Polar King Drive In, Annie B's Pizzeria, and a Subway all within a mile.
