Roam Echo Island spreads across 40 acres along the Weber River, off I-80 at exit 162, south of Coalville and 25 miles from Park City. There’s a stocked pond, a ropes course, and zip lines on the property, and Echo State Park is 7 miles up the road for boating and fishing on the reservoir.
The park has 154 RV sites on asphalt pads, 8 tent sites, 6 cabins, and 9 glamping tents. Roam Cabins come with a full kitchen, a queen, 2 built-in bunks, and a bath with a tub; the Premium Cottages add a loft that sleeps 3 or 4 kids and take pets. It’s open year-round with a heated bathhouse and heat-taped hookups, though the pool closes October 1 and water shuts off on sites 200 and up for winter. Park City is 25 minutes south for skiing, dining, and Main Street; High West Distillery is 10 miles away. Salt Lake City is under an hour, which makes this an easy base for day trips out of Salt Lake. Roam Echo Island has 154 RV sites on asphalt pads, plus 8 tent sites, 6 cabins, and 9 glamping tents across its 40 acres. Premium Cottages have a queen, a futon, and a loft that fits 3 to 4 kids, and they're pet friendly. Roam Cabins come fully equipped with a kitchen, queen bed, two built-in bunks, a living area, and a full bath with shower and tub. Tents on an RV site run $25. Visitor parking is $5 a day and boat parking $15 a day.
You're along the Weber River with Echo State Park just 7 miles out for boating and fishing, and High West Distillery 10 miles away. Park City sits 25 miles south for skiing, dining, and Main Street. The Weber River and a stocked on-site pond cover fishing (state license required for the river, $5 pond permit from the office). For supplies and meals, Coalville is right up the road, with Neena's Market, Polar King Drive In, Annie B's Pizzeria, and a Subway all within a mile.
