We rented an RV slip for 4 months. The manager was fantastic and very conscientious. The staff is exceptional. We genuinely miss Saundra, Michelle and Jessica since we left a week ago. They are caring and helpful and kind. The campground needs some serious attention. The laundromat unfortunately many of the washers and dryers are broken and have been for quite awhile. The paths are in need of grading and new gravel. This campground is old. It's charming but it needs some love. You won't find a better staff. The place is very peaceful and pretty but it needs some improvements and basic amenities repaired or replaced.

This RV resort has a beautiful location. The shower facilities were dark and in the men’s facility only one of the shower stalls was working. We had a nice parking slip near the water, but the water spicket was so close to the ground that it was almost impossible to hook up the pressure regulator and filter. Those are the little hassles that can make RVing unnecessarily difficult. Would stay here again, but this place could be REALLY nice with just a few upgrades.

Lovely park in a gorgeous spot. There are a variety of spots from full sun to shaded. The bathhouse was acceptable; a good basic shower house with good water pressure, plenty of hot water and clean. The spaces were on the more expensive side (46 a night for a trailer without choosing your spot...and extra $15 to pick a space). Caution to self-made campers and bus conversions: We have a new, self-converted utility trailer turned camper, but were told upon arrival that they do not accept cargo trailers or converted buses. They let us stay, but if we had a longer time booked, I'm not sure they would have allowed us to stay and we would have been in a pickle. Their bookings site does not indicate this is not allowed (and I find the unwritten "rule" artbitrary, as our trailer was newer than some of the old RVs parked there and certainly is not unsightly).

The staff was very professional and accommodating. View the lake at sunset and sunrise was outstanding. The clubhouse was in need of repair But they were very accommodating to us. The staff were upgrading the facilities and you can tell there came a long way. The dog park was very adequate, the grounds were manicured, In spite of the heat. We will be returning.

We stayed in one of the lakeside spots and it was fabulous. It's hot in July by the lake, but what's new about that. There were several Grey Egrets and Snowy Egrets on the "driftwood" sunning themselves on the lake and surprise - a female Northern Harrier was close by and swooping picking up something. The staff was friendly and helpful - they escorted us to our spot and helped us back in. The grounds are well-kept, we didn't use the bath facilities or laundry so don't know about those. Plenty of space to walk your dog which must be on a leash and owner must pick up after the dog like most RV parks. We stayed in a small 36', Fifth wheel and would stay here again.

Claire Kennedy

Very beautiful park. Lots of spots with gorgeous trees. Bath house was very clean. We will definitely come back some day.

We have stayed here several times over the past 10 years. The website for the new owners needs updated badly. We paid for lake front and the premium. We got moved because our camper was to long for the site. Although the RV that was in the spot wasn't much shorter. We was told we couldn't make the turns. I was disappointed to say the least. But life happens everyday. Supposedly we were refunded the premium. But haven't seen it yet. But other than that , the park is the cleanest I've ever seen it. Management was extremely nice to me about the move. It wasn't her fault. But thought I should be able to have my choice of picks next lol. I'll give the park and management 5.0 stars but ill give the website Zero stars.

This was an awesome place. The people were the nicest people I've ever met. They were so helpful, and kind. They wanted you to feel at home. They would do what they could do to help you feel that way. We had the best time there with our family. All our sisters were there and it was just amazing. Their husbands were also there and it made the camping that much better. We even had extended family come over need I say more. It was awesome. It was super special for my wife and I. I am in a wheelchair and they made everything so incredibly easy for me. I just want to thank them.
