At Cheyenne RV Resort, we make camping and lodging simple. After a long day of traveling, hiking, and sightseeing, you’ll enjoy the convenience of our pull-through RV sites with 30-50 amp service. We also offer premium tent sites for those summer nights you want to spend stargazing. Even if you don’t have an RV or tent, you can still visit us and stay in one of our cabins. Getting in late? No worries, we’ll be waiting for your arrival with our after-hours check-in services.

Make your RV feel at home by connecting to our WiFi and streaming your favorite shows and movies during your stay. You’ll also be able to cuddle up with your furry friends and save money on pet boarding when you bring your pets to our pet-friendly Cheyenne campground.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cheyenne RV Resort

How many people are included in my space rental?

Space rentals include 2 adults and 3 children.

How much does it cost to add additional people to my reservation? 

Additional guests can be added to a reservation for $10 per adult and $5 per child.

If I have visitors, do they need parking or day passes?

Passes are only required for visitors who are staying overnight in a cabin. The fee for a visitor in a cabin is $10.

Can my visitors use the pool and other amenities?

Visitors can use the pool for $10 per day. Other amenities are free for visitors except activities that are paid for all guests such as rentable banana bikes.

What are the pool hours?

The pool is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Memorial Day Weekend through late September. The pool does not have a lifeguard on duty.

Is drinking allowed at the pool?

Yes, but no glass is allowed.

Can we swim in the lake/pond/river?

There is no lake, pond, or river access from the park.

Is fishing in the lake catch and release or keepers?

There is no fishing allowed at the park.

Can I bring my own golf cart?

Yes, guests may bring their own golf cart.

Are companion or emotional support animals allowed at no cost?

Yes, service animals are allowed everywhere at all times. All accommodations are open to those with service animals. There is no pet fee. If damaged are caused by the animal, owners are responsible for the cost of cleaning and/or repair.

Does my dog have to be on a leash?

Pets are welcome but must be on a leash and owners must clean up after their pet.

Can my dog be at the pool with us?

Service animals are allowed at the pool, all other pets are not allowed.

Are there age requirements to rent an RV space? Cabin?

Guests must be 18 years old to rent a tent or RV site and 21 years old to rent a cabin.

Is an ID required at check-in?

Only walk-in reservations require an ID for check in.

Can I work on my car/camper in the park?

No, vehicles may not be worked on in the park.

Can I wash my RV in the park?

No, RVs cannot be washed at the park.

Can I sleep in my car in an RV site?

Yes, you may sleep in your car in an RV site.

Can I receive mail or packages?

Yes, guests may receive mail or packages before or after they arrive. Please include guest name and mail to:

Are the bathrooms and showers ADA accessible? 

Bathrooms and showers are not ADA accessible, however Cabin #2 does have a ramp.

Is there an onsite laundry facility?

Yes, there is an onsite laundry facility available for use. In addition, we have a large commercial dryer located on the side of the building by the pool.

Are the showers open 24 hours a day?

Yes, showers are open 24 hours a day except during cleaning from 11 a.m. to noon. Showers are located on the back of the building and a door code is required for entry.

Is there a maximum stay allowed?

There is no maximum stay allowed.

Where is smoking permitted?

Smoking is permitted outdoors only. All smoking trash, including cigarette butts, must be cleaned up.

Do all sites have picnic tables?

All RV sites, cabins, and tent sites have picnic tables.

Is there a dump station onsite? 

Yes, our onsite dump station is free for guests. A $10 dump fee applies for public use.

Is there propane sold onsite?

Yes, propane is sold onsite during office hours and is available for public purchase.

Can I fill my freshwater tank onsite?

Yes, guests may fill freshwater tanks onsite.

Can I bring outside firewood to burn?

Yes, outside firewood is allowed but for designated sites only.

Is there a store onsite?

Yes, there is a convenience store onsite.

Are there prepared food options onsite (restaurant, snack shack, deli, pizza)? 

Our onsite convenience store has a variety of snacks, drinks, ice cream, frozen pizza, and sandwiches that can be microwaved.

Is there a party or meeting place available onsite?

Yes, there is a covered pavilion next to the pool that is open 24 hours and free for guests to use. The pavilion has a full-size kitchen, tables, running water, a microwave, and barbeque pits.

Do you offer free Wi-Fi?

Yes, we do offer free Wi-Fi.

Are tents allowed in addition to an RV in an RV space? In addition to a cabin rental?

Tents are only allowed in designated tent sites.

How many tents are allowed per tent site?

Two tents are allowed per site in sites T01-T11. Four tents per site are allowed in sites 801-806. Individual tent sites have a pad, outlets (20 amp), water, and are fenced.

If I have extra vehicles, is there an overflow parking area?

RV and tow vehicles are allowed at sites. Additional vehicles are allowed in overflow parking for a fee of $10 per vehicle. Additional vehicles can park at the end of the building, in the playground area, or in the parking lot at the pavilion.

Do you allow triple towing?

Towed vehicles must be unhooked and parked in overflowing parking.

How do I cancel my reservation?

To cancel a reservation, guests should call the Reservation Center at 303-228-6868.
For RV sites: You must cancel at least 1 week prior to your scheduled arrival date, and there is a $20 cancellation fee. 
For cabins: You must cancel at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date, and there is a $20 cancellation fee. 
For tent sites: You must cancel at least 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, and there is a $20 cancellation fee. 
Upon completing your reservation, our Cancellation Policy will be emailed to you with the Booking Confirmation, so you will have a copy of it in your records.
